Family members of two of the most prominent Kennedy family members will be involved in the holiday events in New York City, a spokesperson for the Kennedy Center said.
The spokesperson said the Kennedy Family Foundation will lead a holiday event for Kennedy Family members that will take place on January 7 at the New York Public Library.
The New York Daily News reported that the Kennedy family, whose daughter Jacqueline was the first woman to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, will be joined by Kennedy Family Executive Director David Greenblatt, Kennedy family Senior Adviser Karen Hughes, Kennedy Family Communications Director David Parnell, Kennedy’s son, Barry, and a number of Kennedy Family friends.
The event, titled “Holly’s Story: A Kennedy Family Celebration,” will include a family reunion, readings, and an interactive Q&A with Holly Kennedy.
The Kennedy family is expected to host its annual Holiday Dinner at the Kennedy Museum on February 22 at 7 p.m.
The dinner will feature a festive meal and music, and will feature wine and champagne from local wineries.
The next Kennedy Family event, “Mama’s First Christmas,” will take over the Memorial Auditorium at the JFK Library from Friday, January 13 at 6 p.y.m., and will be broadcast on CBS.
