FOX News’ FOX & FOX BUSINESS anchor Fox &: FOX BUS BUSINESS anchors Lisa Salters and John King, along with guest host and CNN analyst Michael Smerconish, answered questions from FOX News viewers on the family movie, the Holy Family University.
Salters said the film is based on a true story and features the Holy family and their relationship with Jesus Christ.
King said the HolyFamily is a Christian family and the family is an extension of Jesus Christ, but that the film will explore other religions, including Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Islam and others.
KING: And the film has no real connection to Christianity or Christianity’s teachings, but it has a lot of parallels to Christianity.
And I think people are really drawn to this family because of their relationship to Jesus Christ and the Holy.
Salts said the family also plays a key role in the film and its characters.
KING (voice-over): The Holy Family is an ancient family in Egypt, but the Holy families were founded in Egypt by the Pharaohs.
In Egypt, the family lived together as a unit, as a couple.
Salter said the holy families were the dominant religious community in Egypt and, as with any community, it was the patriarchs who set the tone and set the direction for the community.
Sals said the patriarch, Anubis, and his wife Isis were the only ones who would have access to the throne and they were given the title of King.
King told FOX NEWS: The king of Egypt, Anaximander, is the father of all kings.
So the only thing that he could do was to say, “The Holy Family.
We’re going to take it over.”
KING: They’re going back to their ancient home, the pyramids.
But the family’s most significant role is to be the spiritual center of the family, said Salts.
KING and Salts discussed the Holyfamily, and King said it’s about the power of faith and the power to connect.
Salits said the films depiction of the Holy, the “holy family,” is one that is not as commonly discussed and is a reflection of how it has always been in our culture and how it should be.
KING(voice-overs): But the HolyFamilies story also reflects the many other religious traditions that existed throughout ancient Egypt.
The HolyFamily.org website has a wealth of information about these different traditions.
The site is filled with references to ancient texts, including the Bible and the Quran, and offers a wealth a discussion on religion in ancient Egypt and in the rest of the ancient world.
Salins said the focus on the Bible has always had a great deal of resonance for the Holyfamilies.
SalTS: This film, in many ways, is a retelling of a biblical story, and I think that’s a very important part of the story.
KING:(voice-off): Salts and King talked about how the Holy Families story is about the relationship between Jesus Christ the Christ and His followers and their faith.
KING said, as Anaxerxes the son of Nebuchadnezzar, Anx also became king of the Egyptians, and he was the only ruler who could make it through to the end.
King was referring to the ancient story of Nebutun, which tells of Anx as a descendant of the king of Babylon, and Nebuchadin, who was the son and heir of Anax and his father Nebutus.
King explained how Anax was the one who first came to the family with the message of forgiveness and the message that there is forgiveness and there is hope.
Salmans said Anx is the only one who can make the family strong, and Anx becomes the father figure in the story, teaching the Holy FAMILY that forgiveness is a shared responsibility.
Salz says the Holy fami…
KING: Anax is a figure of power in ancient Egyptian history, and that is what Anax means to the Holyfamilies family.
KING AND SALTS: And Anax the son is also the symbol of the unity of the people in the Holy FAMILY.
KING, SALTS, and KING: I think the people are looking for something in a different way in the movie.
I think they’re looking for a more personal, more personal and a deeper connection to the person who is their savior.
KING:, Salts, and Salters discussed how the family and Jesus Christ are intertwined and how the film explores the connection between the Holy and the religious, and the importance of faith in the family.
